Tuition Scholarship Program
For many families monthly tuition prohibits their involvement. Scholarship partners are needed to help make singing in the Choir an option for all families. The Tuition Scholarship Program matches up to one half of the annual tuition. The tuition partner contributes $315 annually. The tuition partner - an individual or a business - receives a personal thank-you letter from the boy who benefits from the gift, as well as a letter of receipt from the Choir for tax purposes, since the choir is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. (The ABC scholarship commitee will determine which boys recieve funds. The donor will not designate which boy gets funds.)
Kathryn Mauldin Memorial Scholarship Fund
Would you like to help sponsor a boy, but can't afford the $315 donation? The Kathryn Mauldin Memorial Schoalrship Fund will combine donations to create half-tuition scholarships for deserving boys.
Annual ABC Raffle
For several years, the residents of Albuquerque have seen groups of four or five boys--dressed in their tuxedos--in front of retail stores during parts of March and April, selling raffle tickets. The ABC raffle helps fund the annual ABC Hummingbird Music Camp retreat, Spring Tour and other choir expenses not covered by tuition.
Christmas Tree Sale
The Albuquerque Boy Choir raises funds through an annual Christmas Tree Sale. The money raised is used for all expenses relating to the production of the world's most beautifully performed choral music. Our trees are sought out each year by other sellers due to our high quality and low prices.
Program Book Advertising
The annual Program Book, 1,000 copies of which are printed and distributed, is an important part of our fundraising. Ads range in size and price. Please consider advertising in our Annual Program Book.
United Way of Central New Mexico
The Albuquerque Boy Choir is a registered organization with United Way of Central New Mexico. Consider designating the Choir as the recipient of your United Way payroll deduction--with some employers matching employee donations.
