ACCOMPANISTS
Paul Roth, Accompanist - Concert Choir
Paul, a native of New Mexico, started playing piano at the age of five. From an early age, he has played for church and school ensembles, finding joy in musical collaboration. He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance from UNM in 1990. He is currently the pianist for Covenant Presbyterian Church. Paul teaches piano privately and is an active accompanist for many vocal and instrumental recitals.
Denise Baccadutre, Accompanist - Choristers
Denise Baccadutre began studying piano at the age of five. She graduated in 1972 from Wichita State University. She majored in Vocal Performance, minored in Music Education, and participated in opera, the University Singers, and the Madrigals. After graduation, she taught vocal music for 10 years to students in grades K-12.
Since moving to New Mexico in 1984, Denise has worked for the Moriarity Municipal Schools as a secondary choral director and administrator and an elementary principal. In 1995, she returned to teaching choral music because she says: "I missed music in my life and teaching music is a lot more fun than being a principal!" She currently teaches two middle school and five high school choirs: "The young men and their beautiful voices in the Choristers have added a new dimension to my life." Denise received her Master's degree in Educational Administration and is currently pursuing a doctorate at UNM.
Annie Nolan, Accompanist - Cadets
Annie graduated from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas with degrees in Music and English. She sang in the university's A Cappella Choir for six years, an experience which gave her a love of choral music and a love of making music with other people. She has a K-12 Performing Arts teaching license and has taught in private and public schools. She currently gives piano and voice lessons in Bosque Farms.
